HEY EVERYONE! It's been crazy here in SoCal this past week! it was hot and sunny then humid and windy then it was raining like crazy and there was ice in my water trough! All within six days! Six of my seven little fishy friends died due to the drastic temperature changes, such a bummer! Anyway, because of all the rain we've gotten recently I thought it would be a good time to discuss how to get your horse and your property ready for a storm! Now obviously how you prepare depends entirely on your horse, your area and the intensity of the rains coming your way, but here are some of the basic concerns that all horse people should at least be aware of. Hello Again, Today I wanted to tell everyone about my new friend Fuego. Me and Fuego had a play date last week! As some of you guys might remember Mommy was working with a cute little sorrel mare last year named Bella, who was available for adoption? Well I'm very pleased to announce that about two months ago Bella finally found a new owner! AND GUESS WHAT ! ? She's staying here at the ranch so Mommy can still help with her whenever its needed. Momma would have preferred a bit of a more experienced horse person to take Bella, but it seems to be working out OK and Bella seems very healthy and happy, which of course in turn makes Mom happy! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY  EVERYONE!

Hey Guys! Since Mommy can't ride for a while we have been doing more ground work, I have begun learning about tarps (tutorial coming soon), and other scary objects.  Mommy has also begun teaching me more advanced ground work like single line lunging and liberty. Now, Mommy prefers to work horses in the round pen or on long lines, she's studied it and it's just better for our backs.  However right now she physically can't long line me (with her broken shoulder) so she figured its a good excuse to teach me to lunge the other way. IN LOVING MEMORY OF  MARA (My old roomate who passed away last week due to cancer and ol d age) Hello Everyone! Again it has been a while since I posted and again you can blame my MOMMY ! Ugh, on 1\1\18 We had another accident and Mom broke her shoulder (which we both agree was like not even in the little-est bit my fault so shut your face).
