WATERLILY!

There is one thing that I LOVE to play with.

Every day, all day, it provides me with endless entertainment!

It was very obvious that I liked water right from the beginning.

Our trough used to have a goldfish in it that Mommy called "Fin-ly". 

I would wait be the trough until he would swim to the surface, then I would blow bubbles in the water and scare him. I thought that was so fun! But we recently had to replace our trough so Fin-ly had to move out.

But lately the weather here in SoCal has been getting hotter and hotter as we move into Summer.

It is now completely normal for Mom to visit our house and find me covered from my ears to my hooves in water!

Lola likes water too and we have splashing wars ALL DAY LONG!

Loving water can cause some extra maintenance however,

During this week alone I have dug a trench around my water trough so that I can play in the mud and made Mom fill it in, 

dunked all of my hay in the trough and making Mommy clean it out EVERYDAY! 

And have also made Mommy bathe my legs four times (FOUR) in order to get off the layers and layers of dried mud!

But that's ok! Mommy likes to see me happy!

Speaking of happiness! Don't even get me started on bath time! 

I am in HORSIE HEAVEN during bath time!

Usually Mom has a hard time getting me to hold still because I'm constantly trying to play with the hose!

After a long training session we normally stop by the wash rack so I can get a drink. Most of the time I end up holding the hose in my mouth like a straw without help!

Now, I have many nick names! But, because of this obsession with water, Mommy's been calling me WaterLily! I like that one!
