WELCOME GRANNY M!

Originally, the plan was that this post would be about WEEK #2 of bringing a horse back into work.

BUT! Lola tore both her front shoes off, ripped a chunk out of her footie and is currently having ANOTHER few days of rest! UGH!

However...That's OK, because today we can talk about our new room mate!

Over the past few weeks we have had two horses stay in our "guest house". The first one, Taylor, a paint, decided to move into a one horse "barn-apartment" but the second one, an incredibly sweet and gentle old mare called Mystery has stayed.

Today was the first day Mystery joined us in the main house! Normally Lola can be a bit bratty to newbies...

Mystery saying hi to us!

Us having a conference, deciding if we are going to be nice.

But she seemed to understand Mystery's age and temperament didn't make her a threat to her queen bee status so we've all gotten along quite well!

For about hhhmmm....30 seconds I wasn't sure whether or not to introduce myself, but I did lol!

Introducing myself to Mystery

Once we said hi, I realized how kind, curious and social Mystery was and immediately dubbed her my new Grandma! She seemed a bit surprised at my instant kisses and huggies but soon she seemed to think it was really cute...WELL DUH!

"Youz iz my new Grandma! MINE!"

Needless to say I LOVE MY NEW GRANDMA! Granny M! We even have matching coats! Hopefully she and Lola can get along so she can stay with us forever and ever and ever!

Granny already calls to me and Lola when we are out of sight to make sure we are OK and she seems to REALLY like Mommy too! Lola was being protective of her at first but soon she realized Granny wasn't going to try to take me and Mommy away from her so she relaxed!

All the humans are crossing their finger things that it works out! I hope so too!

Lots Of Kisses!
